   § 42-45.1-11  Field investigations onprivately owned lands – Communication of knowledge of archeological sites.– It is the declared intention of the general assembly that field investigationson privately owned lands should be conducted in accordance with both theprovisions and spirit of this chapter; and persons having knowledge of thelocation of archaeological sites are encouraged to communicate the informationto the state historical preservation commission.
