SECTION 42-45.1-8

   § 42-45.1-8  Conditions upon transfer ofproperty by state. – When transferring real property under its jurisdiction that containssignificant archaeologic or other anthropological resources, the state, itsagencies, departments, and institutions, may, upon the recommendation of thestate historical preservation commission, condition the transfer upon suchcovenants, restrictions, or other contractual arrangements as will limit thefuture use of the property in such a way as will protect those resources.
