SECTION 42-56-19

   § 42-56-19  Educational and vocationaltraining unit. – To most effectively assist the vocational and educational rehabilitation ofeach person imprisoned in the adult correctional institutions or any juvenileplaced in the custody of the department, there shall be within the departmentof corrections an educational and vocational training unit whose duties itshall be to determine the needs and the aptitude of that person and to furnishthe means that shall be best designed to effect the rehabilitation.
