§ 42-61.1-4 - Representation of being specially selected.

SECTION 42-61.1-4

   § 42-61.1-4  Representation of beingspecially selected. – (a) No person shall represent that another person has been specially selectedin connection with the sale or lease or solicitation for sale or lease ofgoods, property, or service, unless the selection process is designed to reacha particular type or types of persons.

   (b) The use of any language that may lead a reasonable personto believe he or she has been specially selected, including, but not limitedto, "carefully selected," or "you have been selected to receive," or "you havebeen chosen," which shall be considered a representation of the type governedby this section.
