SECTION 42-69-1

   § 42-69-1  Commission established –Membership. – There is established a permanent state commission to be known as the schoonerErnestina/Morrissey commission, consisting of nine (9) members to be appointedby the governor, one of whom shall be the director of the Rhode Island economicdevelopment corporation, or that director's designee, one of whom shall be thedirector of the department of environmental management, or that director'sdesignee, one of whom shall be the mayor of the city of Providence, or themayor's designee, one of whom shall be a member of the heritage commission, oneof whom shall be from the University of Rhode Island's division of marineresources, and four (4) of whom shall be from the public sector.
