   § 42-72.2-6  Data maintenance. – The department of health shall assume full responsibility for the collection,entry, storage, analysis, and file protection of all Level I and II needsdetermination information. Access to this data and preserving itsconfidentiality shall be subject to all existing and applicable state andfederal statutes, as well as those regulations and guidelines developed by thehuman subjects committee within the department of health.
