SECTION 42-72.5-1

   § 42-72.5-1  Establishment. – There is established within the executive branch of state government achildren's cabinet. The cabinet shall be comprised of: the director of thedepartment of administration; the director of the department of children,youth, and families; the director of the department of mental health,retardation, and hospitals; the director of the department of health; thecommissioner of higher education; the commissioner of elementary and secondaryeducation; the director of the department of human services; the chiefinformation officer; the director of the department of labor and training; thedirector of the department of elderly affairs; and the director of policy inthe governor's office. The governor shall designate one of the members of thecabinet to be chairperson.
