SECTION 42-72-26

   § 42-72-26  Assumption of duties. –Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the director, assuming any dutiesformerly imposed upon any other department, division, board, commission, orother agency, shall perform those duties, notwithstanding that they wereformerly performed by a board, commission, or single officer.
