SECTION 42-8.1-18
§ 42-8.1-18 Penalties. – Any officer or employee who violates the provisions of this chapter is guiltyof a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine notexceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment for not more thanone year.
