SECTION 42-8-10
§ 42-8-10 Defaults in election returns.– The secretary of state shall, within thirty (30) days after any default in thereturn of voting machines and election returns, certify the default to theattorney general, and his or her certificate shall be prima facie evidence ofthe default, and the attorney general shall prosecute every person guiltythereof.
