SECTION 42-82-17

   § 42-82-17  Severability. – If any provisions of this chapter or of any rule, regulation or order madeunder this chapter, or the application of this chapter to any person orcircumstances, is held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, theremainder of this chapter, rule, regulation or order, and the application ofthat provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected. Theinvalidity of any section or sections or parts of any section or sections ofthis chapter shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this chapter,and it is declared to be the legislative intent that this chapter would havebeen enacted if those invalid parts had not been included in this chapter.
