SECTION 42-95-4

   § 42-95-4  Advances from general fund.– The general treasurer is authorized from time to time, with the approval of thegovernor and the director of administration, in anticipation of the receipts ofmonies enumerated in §§ 42-95-1 and 42-95-3 to advance sums to thefund, for the purposes specified in §§ 42-95-2 and 42-95-3, any fundsof the state not specifically held for any particular purpose; provided,however, that all advances made to the fund shall be returned to the generalfund upon the receipt by the fund of proceeds resulting from the receipt ofmonies to the extent of the advances. At no time shall the total of alladvances exceed three million dollars ($3,000,000).
