   § 42-96-5  Periodic review of contractperformance; renegotiation and termination of contract. – The commission shall, by regulation, provide for the review, at periodicintervals, which shall as far as possible be coincidental with payment periods,of the performance of organizations under their respective contracts with thecommission. Reviews shall, among other things, be for the purposes ofascertaining the quality and quantity of the organization activities performed,the conformity of the organization to contract provisions and the financialintegrity and efficiency of the organization. Contracts may be terminated bythe director upon a finding of substantial non-performance or other breach bythe organization, and contracts shall be modified and renegotiated, from timeto time, in light of the actual performance, new or changed conditions, orotherwise.
