SECTION 42-98-18

   § 42-98-18  Liberal construction –Severability. – The provisions of this chapter shall be construed liberally to effectuate itspurposes. If any provision of this chapter or of any rule, regulation, ordetermination made under this chapter, or the application of this chapter toany person, agency, or circumstances, is held invalid by a court of competentjurisdiction, the remainder of the chapter, rule, regulation, or determinationand the application of the provisions to other persons, agencies orcircumstances shall not be affected by the invalidity. The invalidity of anysection or sections or parts of any section or sections of this chapter shallnot affect the validity of the remainder of the chapter.
