SECTION 43-4-7

   § 43-4-7  Existing rights and remediesunaffected by repeal. – The repeal of the acts referred to or enumerated in this chapter, shall notaffect any acts done or any right accruing or accrued, acquired, orestablished, or any remedy for any injury thereto, or any suit or proceedinghad or commenced in any civil case before the time when the repeal shall takeeffect, but the proceedings in every case shall be conformed, whenevernecessary, to the provisions of the general laws.
