SECTION 44-1-25

   § 44-1-25  Priority of state tax actions.– In any action to recover the amount of any tax assessed by the taxadministrator, including interest and penalties, which the tax administratorhas commenced in the superior court or which has been appealed to the superiorcourt, the action shall, on the day to which it has been assigned for trial inthe superior court by motion or agreement, take precedence for trial over allother cases on the trial calendar of the superior court for the day.
