SECTION 44-14-16

   § 44-14-16  Liability of fiduciaries.– Any receiver, liquidator, agent, trustee, assignee, conservator, or otherfiduciary conducting or liquidating the business or selling the assets of anybanking institution shall be subject to the provisions of and the tax imposedby this chapter in the same manner and to the same extent as if the businesswere being conducted or liquidated or the assets sold by the agents or officersof the banking institution.
