SECTION 44-27-13

   § 44-27-13  Severability. – If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapter is for any reasonjudged invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the judgment does notaffect, impair, or invalidate the remainder of this chapter but is confined inits operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapterdirectly involved in the controversy in which the judgment has been rendered.
