   § 44-5.1-4  Rate of tax. – The tax authorized by this chapter shall be measured by the assessed value ofthe real estate at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) for each one hundreddollars ($100) of the assessed value of the real estate as most recentlyreturned by the tax assessor of a city or town.
