   § 44-5-49  Municipal revaluation –Rules and regulations – Investigation. – The director of the department of revenue is authorized and empowered topromulgate rules and regulations for revaluation firms as described in §44-5-48, and the director is authorized to investigate and inquire into theresources of applicants including, but not limited to, contacting prior personsfor whom service was performed in order to evaluate the applicant's ability toperform the service of revaluation.
