SECTION 44-7-18

   § 44-7-18  Execution against sureties ofdelinquent collector. – If no estate of the collector can be found in the precinct of the officer, orif the estate is insufficient, the officer shall make return to the clerk'soffice, and an alias execution shall immediately be issued against the suretiesof the collector, for the amount unpaid, and costs and expenses, which shall belevied upon their estates, and proceeded with in the manner as directed by thischapter concerning collectors.
