SECTION 44-7-8

   § 44-7-8  Permissive excise tax collectionagreement. – A tax collector or a finance director of any city or town may enter into anagreement with the administrator of the division of motor vehicles for thecollection of motor vehicle excise taxes and/or motor vehicle registration feesand/or the issuance of motor vehicle registrations on a mutually agreed costsharing basis.
