SECTION 44-9-16

   § 44-9-16  Conveyance of several unimprovedparcels by single deed – Apportionment of costs. – If any unimproved and unoccupied parcels of land are sold for nonpayment oftaxes assessed against the same person, the collector may convey in one deed tothe same purchaser, or convey to the city or town any number of lots soadvertised and sold, and the deed shall state the amount of the taxes and costsdue for each lot. The cost of the sale shall be apportioned equally among allthe lots sold, and the cost of the deed shall be apportioned equally among allthe lots conveyed by the deed.
