SECTION 45-10-10

   § 45-10-10  Delivery of records toauditors. – The town or city treasurer or any other person or persons that may have custodyof any accounts or other records described in § 45-10-9 shall, on demandof the person or persons authorized by § 45-10-4 to make post audit,deliver to that person or persons for examination all applicable accounts orother records. Failure or neglect to comply with the provisions of this sectionby the town or city treasurer, or by a person or persons described in §45-10-9, is punishable by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000)nor less than five hundred dollars ($500).
