SECTION 45-10-5.1

   § 45-10-5.1  Uniform accounting procedures.– The office of the auditor general of the state of Rhode Island shall prescribeand supervise the application of uniform accounting principles and financialreporting to follow the guidelines established by the governmental accountingstandards board and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Theauditor general shall supervise compliance with generally accepted auditingstandards.
