SECTION 45-16-6

   § 45-16-6  Aid and assistance in executionof office. – Every town sergeant and constable, in the due execution of his or her office,may command all necessary aid and assistance in the execution of his or heroffice; and every person who, when so required, refuses or neglects to give aidand assistance, shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00).
