   § 45-19-1.6  Lien docket. – Every city or town clerk, and the director of administration of the state ofRhode Island, shall provide a suitable well-bound book to be called the "liendocket" in which, upon the filing of any lien claim under the provisions of§§ 45-19-1.2 – 45-19-1.5 he or she shall enter the name of theemployee, the name of the person, firm, or corporation alleged to be liable forthe injuries sustained or sickness contracted, the name of an insurance carrierwhere the name is known at the time of filing of the notice, and the date thatthe injury was sustained or the sickness contracted, and the clerk or directorof administration shall index the lien docket in the name of the employee andin the name of the insurance carrier where the name of the employee orinsurance carrier is known at the time of filing the notice.
