SECTION 45-21.2-7

   § 45-21.2-7  Retirement for ordinarydisability. – Any member in active service who has five (5) years or more of total serviceand who is not otherwise eligible for retirement may, upon the member'sapplication or upon application of the employer, be retired on an ordinarydisability retirement allowance, subject to the restrictions set forth in§§ 45-21-19, 45-21-20, 45-21-23, and 45-21-24.
