SECTION 45-21-20

   § 45-21-20  Ordinary disability allowance.– Upon retirement for ordinary disability, a member receives a retirementallowance equal to the rate prescribed for service retirement subject to theprovisions of § 45-21-31; provided that no member retiring with less thanten (10) years of total service receives a benefit less than the member wouldhave received if the member had ten (10) years of total service.
