§ 45-22.1-1 Declaration of policy. –For the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals, and the general welfare ofthe various areas in the state of Rhode Island through the effectivedevelopment of these areas, the following powers for the establishment of jointmunicipal planning commissions are hereby granted.
