   § 45-23-74  Severability. – If any provision of this chapter or of any rule, regulation or determinationmade under this chapter, or the application of the provisions to any person,agency or circumstances, is held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction,the remainder of the chapter, rule, regulation, or determination and theapplication of the provisions to other persons, agencies, or circumstancesshall not be affected by the invalidity. The invalidity of any section orsections of this chapter shall not affect the validity of the remainder of thechapter.
