SECTION 45-24.1-2

   § 45-24.1-2  Historic district zoningauthorized. – In order to carry out the purposes of this chapter, each city and town has theauthority to establish, change, lay out, and define districts, which are deemedto be of historical or architectural value, in the same manner as those citiesand towns are presently empowered to establish or change areas andclassifications of zoning.
