SECTION 45-25-26

   § 45-25-26  Resolution for action by statepublic body. – The exercise by a state public body of the powers granted by this chapter maybe authorized by resolution of the governing body of a state public bodyadopted by a majority of the members of its governing body present at a meetingof the governing body, which resolution may be adopted at the meeting at whichthe resolution is introduced. The resolution or resolutions shall take effectimmediately and need not be laid over or published or posted.
