SECTION 45-25-33

   § 45-25-33  Severability. – If any one or more sections, clauses, sentences, or parts of chapters 25 –27 of this title shall for any reason be questioned in any court, and adjudgedunconstitutional or invalid, the judgment shall not affect, impair, orinvalidate the remaining provisions, but shall be confined in its operation tothe specific provisions held unconstitutional or invalid, and theinapplicability or invalidity of any section, clause, or provision of thosechapters in any one or more instances or circumstances shall not be taken toaffect or prejudice in any way its applicability or validity in any otherinstance.
