SECTION 45-25-8

   § 45-25-8  Corporate powers of authority.– (a) When the application has been made, filed, and recorded, the authorityshall constitute a public body and a body corporate and politic under the nameproposed in the application. The secretary of state shall make and issue to thecommissioners, a certificate of incorporation pursuant to this chapter, underthe seal of the state, and record the certificate of incorporation with theapplication.

   (b) The boundaries of the authority shall be coterminous withthe territorial boundaries of the city.
