§ 45-27-18 - Validation of previous acts.

SECTION 45-27-18

   § 45-27-18  Validation of previous acts.– (a) All proceedings, acts, and things undertaken or done before March 8, 1943,in or for the authorization, issuance, execution, sale, and delivery of notesand bonds by housing authorities for the purpose of financing or aiding in thedevelopment or construction of a housing project or projects, are herebyvalidated and declared legal in all respects.

   (b) Any payments to public bodies in the state made by ahousing authority before March 8, 1943, are validated and declared legal in allrespects, and a housing authority is authorized to make payments to publicbodies in the state in those amounts as it finds desirable, notwithstanding anystatutory limitation on the amount of those payments.

   (c) All notes and bonds issued by housing authorities beforeMarch 8, 1943, are validated and declared legal in all respects.
