SECTION 45-3-9

   § 45-3-9  Notice of meetings by request– Hour held – Business considered. – The notice of meetings, when called by request provided in § 45-3-6, shallbe given in the manner provided for meetings prescribed by law. In towns inwhich the hour of meetings prescribed by law is fixed by law, meetings calledby request shall be held at the same hour. In other towns, the meetings shallbe held at the hour named in the request. At all meetings called by request,only the business stated in the warrants directing the calling of the meetingsshall be acted upon.
