SECTION 45-31.1-9

   § 45-31.1-9  Financial assistance by otherpublic bodies. – In addition to the powers conferred upon a redevelopment agency by otherprovisions of this chapter, a redevelopment agency is empowered to borrow moneyor accept financial or other assistance from the federal or state government orany public body for or in aid of the provisions of this chapter, and, to theseends, comply with conditions attached to them, not inconsistent with thepurposes of this chapter with the approval of the legislative body.
