SECTION 45-31.2-8

   § 45-31.2-8  Authority of the relocationagency. – (a) The relocation agency shall adopt rules and regulations as may be necessaryto assure:

   (1) That the payments and assistance authorized by thischapter are administered in a manner which is fair and reasonable, and asuniform as practicable;

   (2) That a displaced person who makes proper application fora payment authorized for the person by this chapter is paid promptly after amove or, in hardship cases, paid in advance; and

   (3) That any person aggrieved by a determination as toeligibility for a payment authorized by this chapter, or the amount of apayment, may have his or her application reviewed by the head of the relocationagency.

   (b) The relocation agency may prescribe other regulations andprocedures, consistent with the provisions of this chapter, as it deemsnecessary or appropriate to carry out this chapter.
