SECTION 45-32-10

   § 45-32-10  Petition for zoning changes.– In order to effectuate a redevelopment plan, the agency may petition thelegislative body for a revision, amendment, or modification of zoningordinances affecting the area covered by the redevelopment plan, concurrentlywith the submission of the redevelopment plan by the agency to the legislativebody, or, at any time thereafter; provided, that the revision, amendment, ormodification is stated in the redevelopment plan. The public hearing on thepetition may be conducted in conjunction with the hearing on the redevelopmentplan required by § 45-32-11; provided, that the provisions of §§45-24-4 and 45-24-5 are applicable to the petition.
