   § 45-32-18  Provisions for control of uses.– No plan shall be approved unless it provides for the retention of controls andthe establishment of any restrictions or covenants which may run with the realproperty sold, leased, or otherwise disposed of for private or public use forthose periods of time and under conditions that in the judgment of thelegislative body are necessary to effectuate the purposes of chapters 31 –33 of this title.
