§ 45-32-26 - Resolution of necessity for acquisition. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 45-32-26

   § 45-32-26  Resolution of necessity foracquisition. – The necessity for the acquisition of real property, estate, or interest in itshall be conclusively presumed upon the adoption by the agency of a resolutionwhich shall:

   (1) Contain a description of the real property or any estateor interest in it sufficient in detail to permit an identification.

   (2) Declare that the acquisition of the real property or anyestate or interest in it is in the public interest and necessary for the publicuse.

   (3) State that the real property or any estate or interest init is included in a redevelopment project approved under this chapter.
