   § 45-32-7  Submission of redevelopmentplans – Conformity to master plan. – All redevelopment plans shall be submitted to the legislative body by theredevelopment agency. Every redevelopment plan shall conform to the master orgeneral community plan insofar as the latter applies to the redevelopment area.The agency shall consult with the planning commission of the community informulating redevelopment plans before their submission to the legislativebody. Whenever a redevelopment plan is submitted to the legislative body, acopy of the plan shall be submitted to the planning commission, which shallreport to the legislative body within thirty (30) days on the redevelopmentplan and its conformity to the master or general plan of the community.
