SECTION 45-34-1

   § 45-34-1  Definitions. – The following words and phrases as used in this chapter have the followingmeanings unless the context clearly states otherwise:

   (1) "Disposal of solid wastes" means the disposal of wastesin an incinerator, a sanitary landfill, a resource recovery facility, or otherfacility making final deposition, but does not include the collection of wastesfrom points of generation or the transportation of those collected wastes totransfer stations or facilities for interim storage;

   (2) "Legislative body" means the city council of any city;

   (3) "Municipality" means any city or town;

   (4) "Person" means and includes any individual, partnership,corporation, or association.
