SECTION 45-34-3

   § 45-34-3  Agreements – Howauthorized. – Waste disposal agreements are entered into on behalf of the municipality ormunicipalities upon a vote of the respective financial town meeting or thelegislative body of the municipality as may be empowered to appropriate andexpend moneys for matters relating to the public health and safety, and thesecontracts may be signed by the officials who may now contract for eachmunicipality respecting expenditures for these purposes.
