SECTION 45-46-2

   § 45-46-2  Declaration of purpose. –The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the cities and towns of the stateto adopt, in accordance with the provisions of the model local ordinanceprovided in this chapter, ordinances and programs to control erosion andsedimentation and to prevent erosion-related damage to the man-made and naturalfeatures of the state.
