SECTION 45-46-3

   § 45-46-3  Powers of councils. – The city or town council of any city or town is authorized to adopt, pursuantto the purposes of this chapter, the provisions of the model erosion andsediment control ordinance as provided in § 45-46-5. To assist in theimplementation of ordinances and programs adopted pursuant to this chapter, acity or town council may adopt an erosion and sediment control plan.
