SECTION 45-48.1-17

   § 45-48.1-17  Bonds eligible forinvestment. – The bonds and notes issued under the provisions of this chapter are hereby madesecurities in which all public officers and public bodies of the state and itspolitical subdivisions, all insurance companies, trust companies in theircommercial departments, savings banks, co-operative banks, bankingassociations, investment companies, executors, administrators, trustees andother fiduciaries may properly and legally invest funds, including capital intheir control or belonging to them. The bonds and notes are hereby madesecurities which may properly and legally be deposited with and received by anystate or municipal officer or any agency or political subdivision, of the statefor any purpose for which the deposit of bonds or obligations of the state isnow or may hereafter be authorized by law.
