SECTION 45-48.1-3

   § 45-48.1-3  Officers and employees ofboard. – (a) The chairperson of the board shall be selected by the majority vote of themembers of the board. The board shall appoint a secretary and a treasurer whomay or may not be members of the board.

   (b) The board may from time to time hire, transfer orotherwise appoint or employ legal counsel, financial advisors and such otherexperts, engineers, agents, accountants, clerks, and other consultants andemployees as it deems necessary and determine their duties.
