SECTION 45-5-8

   § 45-5-8  Suspension or removal of surveyorof highways. – In case of the incapacity of any surveyor of highways, or of any tyrannical andunwarrantable exercise by the surveyor of the powers of his or her office, thetown council may, after giving the surveyor notice that the council deemsreasonable, either suspend or altogether remove the surveyor from his or heroffice and appoint another in his or her place.
